Matchbook A2 card

It’s the weekend so it’s time for Craft Roulette episode #162. This week the perimeters were A matchbook card, flower field colors, a bird, and wood grain. I decided to make the matchbook an A2 size and it just had to have a flamingo on it of course.

Materials used

Copic colors used R85, R32, RV21 for the flamingo, Y17, YR68, R46, V04, V09

Gelatos Kiwi, Acqua Dolce

Gina K amalgam – obsidian inkpad

Crafter’s Companion- Fabulous Flamingo stamp set

Woodgrain embossing folder

4 ¼ x 10 ¾ -scored at 5, 10 ¼ for card base

4x4 ¾ for mat

3 ¾ x 4 ½ for white panel to stamp and color

4 ¼ x 5 paper from Pink and Main Cool Basics paper pad

4 1/4 x ½ for bottom closure

1. Fold the card base and make a pencil line at the bottom of the top flap. Glue the bottom flap making sure the glue is below the pencil line.

2. Wood grain the 4 1/4 panel then glue to the bottom flap.

3. Stamp the white 3 ¾ x 4 ½ with the bird and sentiment and color.

4. Glue the mats and layers together and glue to the front of the card.

5. Stamp the inside with the message of your choice.
