Drop Down Card

The A snow Scene set was perfect for this week’s Craft Roulette #191. It was winter season. It makes a drop-down front card; The colors could be found on a super table. All I had to add was a shiny Season’s Greeting on the front.

Materials

Crafter’s companion A snow Scene die set

Crafter’s companion Seasons greeting from Vintage Christmas

5x7 card base with 1 ½ inches cut off of the front

4- 1 x 2 cardstock score every ½ inch

3-7 x 3 Heavy White cardstock for die cutting

Patterned paper- Sara Signature Watercolor Christmas

1/16-inch foam

Directions

1. Trim 1 ½ inches of the front of the 5x7 card base.

2. Cut the print paper to 6 ¾ x 4 ¾, 6 ¾ x 2 ¼, and 6 ¾ x 3 ¼. Glue the 3 ¼ to the front. Glue the 4 ¾ to the inside top of the card base and the 2 ¼ to the bottom inside.

3. die cut the 3 scenes. The back one 1 ¾ inches from the bottom of the white card stock. The middle one 1 inch from the bottom and the front one ½ inch from the bottom of the cardstock.

4. Attach the back scene to the inside, top of the card at the fold.

5. Take 2 of the 1 x 2 scored pieces of cardstock and fold in half. Apply glue to the 1st and 4th sections and glue into the fold. One on each end. Allow to dry.

6. Open the card and glue the 2nd scene to the squares.

7. Repeat to attach the front scene.
