When We Make a sypathy card

Writer's picture: Karen EbelingKaren Ebeling

It can be difficult to make a sympathy card. It's hard to judge sometimes what to put on the card or what to say on the inside. I like to think about who the person was and what they liked.

I needed to make a card for soomeone who lost their husband. They were avid sailors and competed in races for years. So for them, a sailboat and lighthouse fit the bill.

I did use Copilot for a starting point for the inside message. It did an OK job for a sympathy but was a little too puny so I toned it way down. It definately sent me in the right direction.

For the outside I used Time to Coast from Gina K and a wood grain embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.
